ZEV Electronic Thermal Relay - Revolutionary Motor Protection Adaptable to Motor Currents from 1 to 820A - The ZEV electronic thermal relay from Moeller has seen technological improvements and reduced costs. - It utilizes a super compact current transformer that is 1/58th the size of conventional transformers, significantly saving space in control panels. - The sensor is small, lightweight, and has a very wide range of current compatibility, making selection easy. It has fewer components, simplifying inventory management. - Installation is easy, requiring only Velcro to secure the sensor, with no complicated wiring or drilling needed. - Settings are simple with button operation and LED display. - It can handle the most severe starting conditions, with the trip class strengthened up to Class 40, ensuring reliability even during long starting times. - Ground fault currents are immediately detected by an external SSW zero-sequence current transformer. It also has a built-in connection for thermistors, allowing for expansion into a complete motor protection system.

Müller's Z series thermal relays protect motors from phase loss and overload. The auxiliary contacts disconnect the motor circuit and also provide a fault signal. They are also suitable for protecting EEx-rated motors. We minimize the number of models to reduce inventory management costs. For sizes up to 250A, they can be directly mounted on our DIL series contactors (see photo) or can be installed separately.
